First and foremost, Happy Labor Day. Most of you will be off celebrating the day with family and friends, and you’ll be consuming grilled burgers and glizzies (hey, DMV!). I will be at work, making sure travelers are safe and collecting double pay – and I’m ok with that!

Whatever your day looks like, I hope you all enjoy it, sincerely.

Speaking of holidays, after a two-month hiatus from the show I co-host and co-produce, Randumb Thoughtz Talk Series, I must say that it’s good to be back. Although I do speak to The Lyrics, A.D.V.I.S.S., and Eric “Famos” Ramos outside of the show, it’s actually nice to see our friendship play out in real time, and we get to share that authentic bond with other people (shouts to our Randos) that we genuinely care about.

Yesterday, we premiered the 5th season of our talk show, and the discussion centered around “The Power Of Words”. Much of the conversation revolved around politics, however, we also delved into linguistics and the true meaning of words when broken down to their individual parts. We also talked about how words can heal and hurt, depending on the circumstances, and how these instances in our childhood affected us as adults. In summation, we covered a great deal of ground within our limited timeframe.
