“Art Is Where The Home Is” And Other New Releases

The last couple of months have been pretty busy for me – notably in the realm of music. I’ve worked on a number of collaborative projects (with many more to come) and these are merely the tip of the iceberg.

Yesterday, Substantial released a remix album to his critically-acclaimed LP, Home Is Where The Art Is. The remix album – with a remixed name – is entitled Art Is Where The Home Is. A slightly chilled version of the original, it features production from Bop Alloy partner Marcus D, Deacon The Villain (of CunninLynguists), JSoul, The Other Guys, Sean Toure, yU, 5-D, and Japan’s Haruka Nakamura. It features everyone from Kokayi, yours truly, to DMV’s own favorite live band Sound Of The City. AIWTHI is available digitally on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Amazon. Physical copies are available via Japan’s Rockwell Product Shop.

In other news, check out these fresh releases! The first is from Hip Hop super duo Bop Alloy and it’s entitled “Count On Us” (personally, one of my favorite tracks on the upcoming album). This is the first single from their upcoming 2nd LP Another Day In The Life Of… Believe me when I say, without bias, this release will surpass anyone’s expectations; it’ll definitely be worth the wait.

The second single is from Australian producer Leehahn and entitled “Shoulders Of Giants” featuring Substantial and laced with vocals from…yep, you guessed it…*points both fingers towards myself*. Really, who does it better? 🙂

Both singles are available on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Amazon. Check them out.

P.S. – Songs About V is coming…
