This is an event you DO NOT want to miss! Yours truly, The Sapphic Songstress, will be opening for rising Neo Soul sensation Nhojj, and will also be performing with Tyren Gem at this event, which will be held in the heart of Harlem.
Queer Black Cinema (QBC), operated by founder Angel L. Brown, is a not-for-profit monthly film series dedicated to bringing more exposure to Queer and African-American filmmakers, writers, film/television producers, and their work – whether independent or mainstream.
I’ve known Angel for a little while now, and in a nutshell, I’m honored to be a part of this event. She’s a great person with an amazing vision, and I hope you join us to share in that vision.
