Over the years, I have shared my soul through the songs I write and the music I make; for me, that has always been the most effective way for me to open up about my inner thoughts and personal life. Being able to converse with the people that listen to my music has been a lifelong challenge because – like so many other artists out here – I am dreadfully shy…this is something someone my age should probably not admit. Be that as it may, I’m finding ways to share myself with the rest of you – enter, the wonderful world of “vlogging”!

In the new vlog short series “Conversations with Stephanie Gayle”, I open up and talk about who I am, how I have grown over the years, and I provide viewers with a deeper understanding of my overall thoughts and musical process. In the first episode located above, I talk about why I made the decision to change my stage name from Steph the Sapphic Songstress to my given name, Stephanie Gayle.
